![]() ![]() The circuit analysis book used in the department in the mid- and late 1940s was Introduction to Circuit Analysis by Abner R. Knight and Gilbert H. Fett. Although generally a popular book, it was noted for its difficult problems. The students were said to have stated that it contained four types of problems:
those that only the smartest students could solve;
those that only Knight and Fett could solve;
those that only God and Fett could solve; and
those that only Fett could solve.
