Burton J. Wilson Scholarship

Established 2002

Burton J. Wilson (BSEE ’43, MSEE ’47) was a research associate at Harvard and then returned to Illinois as a faculty member. He was a classmate and friend of Jack S. Kilby, inventor of the first integrated circuit. Receipients must have demonstrated academic excellence and an interest in electrical energy/power production, conversion, utilization, or conservation.

Award

The recipient(s) will be recognized during an annual Student Awards Banquet. All student recipients are featured on the second floor of the ECE Building's Student Honors Wall.
