All electronics-based industry uses transistor technology. If transistors were people, we would have to fit a third of the entire world population onto an area of ~ 1 cm2 in the latest generation CPU chips!

In this talk, we will explore how engineers are using nanotechnology to shrink transistors and other electronic components in integrated circuits. We’ll also discuss the ramifications of increasingly smaller devices.
