DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Abstract:</strong><br />Companies often see more than 100 students at a career fair and may received hundreds of resumes for a single position. How can you make yourself stand out from the crowd? A few marketing principles can help you to leave a lasting impression, improving your chances of landing the position you are aiming for.</p>
<p><strong>Biography:</strong><br />Sarah is currently the Director of Engineering Career Services and Assistant Dean for Communications for the College of Engineering. She has been with the University for over five years, first with the College of Business, and then transitioned to the College of Engineering. She also worked in consulting for a couple of years and for an educational non-profit organization in Chicago. She graduated with a BS in finance from the University of Illinois and also earned an MBA from Northwestern&rsquo;s Kellogg School of Management.</p>
