Detailed Description and Outline

Topics:

  • Multidimensional signal theory: multidimensional signals, convolution, transforms, sampling, and interpolation; design of two-dimensional digital filters; fast algorithms for multidimensional convolution, DFT, corner turning, Fourier transforms in optics and antennas
  • Sensor array processing and imaging: ambiguity function, range-Doppler radar, reconstruction of signals from projections, tomography, synthetic aperture radar, radio astronomy, beam forming sonar
  • Image estimation: image reconstruction from partial data; phase retrieval, deblurring
