Tech startup Uptake has a lot to celebrate. Incorporated in 2014, it was the fastest company in Chicago’s history to reach “unicorn” status (a tech company whose market value sits at or above $1 billion) and only the third in Illinois. By the end of 2015, Uptake was named the Forbes Hottest New Startup. And last month, Uptake was awarded two Moxie Awards, including Startup of the Year and Breakthrough Digital Company.
