Faculty. Our faculty has produced innovations in microelectronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, photonics, image and signal processing, electromagnetics, computer architecture and circuits, and bioengineering, to name a few. With over 100 members specializing in fields ranging from power economics to Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS), our students are exposed to an unmatched breadth and depth of expertise.
Education. Our students learn from the best in the classroom and in the laboratory. Hands-on instruction is a core component of an electrical and computer engineering education at Illinois. Our facilities will not disappoint.
Research. ECE faculty supervise hundreds of graduate students who conduct research culminating in approximately 100 MS and 50 PhD degrees annually. And, there are ample opportunities for undergrads to do research.
This Web site is an excellent resource for parents of prospective or current students, but don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
