Ph.D. in Optics, 2002, College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida
Research Statement:
Our laboratory performs highly interdisciplinary research at the interface between technology development, basic biological studies and clinical applications. We are focused on developing novel optical methods based on light scattering, interferometry and microscopy to quantify structure and dynamics of cells and tissues in health and disease.
Teaching Statement:
Optics, biological optics, biomedical optics, biophotonics, light scattering, interferometry, microscopy.
Research Interests:
Undergraduate Research Opportunities:
As part of my CAREER Award, I have an opening for a student with research aimed at establishing I-Optics, an online resource for Optics @ Urbana-Champaign.
