Two days before the "holiday of hearts," students gathered to learn and practice through-hole soldering at the Women in Computer and Electric Engineering (WECE) LED heart workshop. Whether a total beginner or someone with more soldering experience, the workshop was great practice. Students soldered resistors, LEDs, and capacitors to a heart-shaped pcb, which they were able to keep.

WECE hosts social, networking, and technical events throughout the year. They plan to host a workshop where they retrofit old video game controllers later in the semester. All events are announced on their Facebook page.
