- Experts abound. With more than 100 researchers specializing in areas ranging from power economics to Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) to nanotechnology, you’ll find the expert you need. And, that’s easy to do using our Expert Search tool.
- Our interdisciplinary approach makes collaboration easy. Our faculty are accustomed to working with interdisciplinary teams. Many do so every day at Illinois’ Beckman Institute for Advance Science and Technology, Coordinated Science Lab, and Micro and Nano Lab.
- Experience. Many of our faculty have industry experience and quite a few have been involved with start up companies. Still others operate their own businesses today, often out of the University’s Research Park.

Consider the following
opportunities:

Give a presentation at an ECE Explorations session. These weekly sessions feature guest speakers who describe new technology, industry trends, and career opportunities. Speakers are welcome to host a reception in connection with their presentation.

Host a Corporate PowerLunch on campus. This is a great way to meet with students in an intimate setting. ECE will make all arrangements.

Host a reception or informational session in Everitt Laboratory.

Sponsor a senior design project. Sponsors suggest student projects and serve as mentors for students throughout the semester.

Coordinate a meeting or event with one of ECE’s student organizations: IEEE, HKN, or WECE.

Fund an undergraduate scholarship or award or a graduate fellowship.
